【RAPID TEST INTENDED USE】
HBsAb Rapid Test is a chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of hepatitis B Surface Antibody(HBsAb) in human serum/plasma.
【HBsAb INTRODUCTION】
The hepatitis B surface antibody test (HBsAb) detects proteins called antibodies that are produced by the immune system in response to the hepatitis B virus (HBV). The test is used to determine if you are immune to the virus after natural exposure or vaccination.
Hepatitis B surface antibody - A "positive" or "reactive" anti-HBs (or HBsAb) test result indicates that a person is protected against the hepatitis B virus. This protection can be the result of receiving the hepatitis B vaccine or successfully recovering from a past hepatitis B infection. A positive anti-HBs (or HBsAb) test result means you are “immune” and protected against the hepatitis B virus and cannot be infected.
【HBsAb TEST PRINCIPLE】
This test is a qualitative, lateral flow immunoassay for the detection of HBsAb in serum or plasma. The membrane is pre-coated with HBsAg on the test line region of the strip. During testing, the serum or plasma specimen reacts with the particle coated with HBsAg. The mixture migrates upward on the membrane chromatographically by capillary action to react with HBsAg on the membrane and generate a colored line. The presence of this colored line in the test line region indicates a positive result, while its absence indicates a negative result.

【HBsAb TEST RESULT INTERPRETATION】
NEGATIVE RESULT:
If only the C line develops, the result is negative or non-reactive.
POSITIVE RESULT:
If both the C and the T lines develop, the result is positive or reactive.
INVALID:
If no C line develops, the assay is invalid regardless of any color development on the T line as indicated below. Repeat the assay with a new device.
STORAGE AND STABILITY
• Store at 2 ~ 30 º C in the sealed pouch for 18 months.
